1. Who We Are

Helmet Hero is a mobile application that uses AI to analyze motorcycle photos and recommend motorcycle helmets. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Your location or GPS data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Your saved gear list (stored only on your device)

3. Photos You Submit for Analysis

When you photograph or upload a motorcycle image, that image is sent to our server solely to identify the motorcycle type, brand, and colors so we can recommend matching helmets and jackets.

• Photos are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers.
• Photos are not used to train AI models.
• Photos are not shared with any third party except the AI vision service used to process them (see Section 5).

4. Camera and Photo Library Access

Helmet Hero requests access to your device camera and photo library only to let you photograph or select a motorcycle image for gear matching. You can deny these permissions at any time in your device settings; the app will still work using the manual style-selection option.

5. Third-Party Services

AI Vision Processing: Motorcycle photos are analyzed by an AI vision service (OpenAI). Images sent to this service are subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. OpenAI does not use API-submitted images to train its models.

Affiliate Links: Helmet and jacket recommendations include affiliate links to RevZilla. When you tap "Buy Now," you are taken to RevZilla's website, which has its own privacy policy. We may earn a commission on purchases made through these links. No personal data about you is shared with RevZilla when you tap a link.

6. Data Storage

Your saved gear is stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Our server stores the helmet and jacket catalog (product names, prices, and affiliate URLs) in a database. This catalog contains no personal user data.

7. Children's Privacy

Helmet Hero is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our app, please contact us and we will promptly address it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
